These are the artist’s words regarding MELGY 22: There are no pigments – this is a unique piece that was vacuum plated through a series of stencils. The marks are in the life of the work.The colors come from the interference of the light reflected off of the surface, much the same as a film of gasoline on a puddle of water. MELGY (medium ellipse on grey) 22 is a very beautiful piece.
